The Interamerican Hellenic Balanced Fund follows a flexible investment strategy. It invests in equities listed on the Athens Stock Exchange and in Greek government and corporate bonds. It ensures wide diversification.
Investment objective
It aims to earn fixed income and to achieve capital gains through investments in bonds and equities issued by companies based in Greece or carrying exposure in Greece.
The Interamerican Hellenic Balanced Fund invests:
- At least 10% of its assets in Greek equities listed on the Athens Stock Exchange.
- At least 10% of its assets in bonds, deposits and money market instruments.
Investments in equities or bonds or deposits and money market instruments may not exceed 65% of its total assets. This is how the balanced character of the mutual fund is maintained.
It may also invest in derivative financial instruments for the purposes of efficient portfolio management and/or hedging.
