Investment objective
It aims at returns over the long term through:
- Investments mainly in equity securities in emerging markets.
- A basket of equity mutual funds, in partnership with top international investment firms.
It includes investments in the stock markets of Asia, the United States, Europe and the Frontier Market.
The (LF) Fund of Funds Global Emerging Markets mutual fund may invest in units of other mutual funds managed by top international investment firms. These include units of exchange traded funds (ETFs).
The selection of the mutual funds included in the portfolio is based on a qualitative and quantitative analysis carried out regularly. The aim is to contribute to achieving the investment objective of the (LF) Fund of Funds Global Emerging Markets fund.
The mutual fund may invest in derivative financial instruments, to mitigate the risk arising from fluctuations in stock markets and exchange rates.
Investment exposure in Frontier Markets may not exceed 30% of the mutual fund’s net assets.
In case where direct investments through UCITS are not possible, the mutual fund can invest directly in equity securities (such direct investments cannot exceed 20% of its net assets).
Furthermore, it may invest up to 50% of its net assets directly in bank deposits and money market instruments.
