Sustainability is an integral part of our investment philosophy and the way we create long-term value for your clients.
We integrate environmental, social and corporate governance factors in our investment processes, since these can significantly affect the risks, opportunities and investment returns in the long run.
As the 1st asset management company in Greece to become a signatory to the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), we are committed to responsible asset management, enhanced transparency, and sustainable value creation for investors and society.
How we approach sustainability
Economic growth and sustainable business practices are intertwined. For this reason, our approach is based on the assessment of sustainability factors that may affect the long-term financial performance of a company, an issuer or an investment. For our investment decisions, we take into account environmental and social factors, as well as corporate governance factors, alongside fundamental financial analysis.
The areas we focus on:
- Environmental and climate risk management.
- Respect for human rights and labour rights.
- Business ethics and transparency.
- Effective corporate governance and accountability.
- Management of risks that may affect the long-term value of investments.
Our goal is to strengthen the investment process through a more comprehensive assessment of the risks and opportunities shaping the financial environment of the future.
How we ensure responsible investments
We integrate responsible investment principles in our investment analysis, selection and monitoring process, in line with regulatory requirements and best international practices.
Following best practices
As the 1st asset management company in Greece to become a signatory to the PRI initiative, we:
- Integrate sustainability factors in our investment analysis and decision-making process, when they are material to the investment result.
- Assess sustainability risks in the context of overall risk management.
- Apply investment restrictions and exclusions in line with our Responsible Investment Policy.
- Monitor the relevant sustainability and risk indicators.
- Comply with the European regulatory framework on sustainability-related disclosures in the financial sector, including the SFDR.
- Offer investment solutions that promote environmental and/or social characteristics, according to Article 8 of the SFDR.
- Continuously update our processes in line with developments in the regulatory and investment framework.
Adopting a Responsible Investment Policy
We apply the Responsible Investment Policy to every portfolio we manage, taking into account the features, investment profile, data availability and specific investment goals of each one. We adapt the way sustainability factors are integrated into each asset class, such as shares, corporate bonds, government bonds and mutual funds.
As of 31.12.2025, Eurobank Asset Management had a total of €9.2 billion in assets under management. Out of these, €241 million involved 3 mutual funds classified under Article 8 of the SFDR. This amounts to approximately 2.6% of total assets under management. These products are part of the company’s wider framework of responsible investments and reflect how our investment solutions are gradually enhanced with sustainability characteristics.
Monitoring our progress
We systematically evaluate quantitative and qualitative indicators related to the implementation of our Responsible Investment Policy:
| Goal scope | KPI | Tracking approach |
| Integration of sustainability factors | Covering 100% of the portfolio assets under management by sustainability integration processes and basic exclusions. | Monitoring the implementation of the Responsible Investment Policy under the actively managed strategies. |
| Sustainability risks | Regularly monitoring 100% of the portfolio assets under sustainability risk management. | Assessing sustainability risks in the context of investment analysis and risk management. |
| Products classified under Article 8 of the SFDR | Regularly monitoring 100% of the portfolio assets under management that promote environmental and/or social characteristics according to the SFDR. | Monitoring the value and evolution of assets under management in investment solutions classified under Article 8. |
| Transparency and disclosures | Publishing annual reports and relevant sustainability reports. | Continuously monitoring the available information and regulatory disclosures. |
| Active participation and voting | Number of General Meetings and voting on the General Meeting agenda. | Monitoring the exercising of voting rights and active participation matters. |
As of 31.12.2025, all defined Key Performance Indicators (KPI) in the area of Responsible Investment had been full achieved. The integration of sustainability factors and assessment of sustainability risks applied to all (100%) assets under management, while all mutual funds classified as Article 8 products were being systematically monitored, in line with our Responsible Investment Policy and the applicable requirements of the SFDR.
Maintaining active participation and exercising voting rights
Active participation is a key element of our responsible investment approach. As an institutional investor, we monitor the companies our portfolios invest in and exercise, where applicable, the voting rights stemming from those investments, according to the Voting Rights Policy and always in line with the interests of our shareholders and clients.
Through exercising our voting rights, we aim to support decisions that lead to more efficient Boards of Directors, protect the shareholders’ rights, and safeguard transparency, accountability and long-term value creation.
We place emphasis on issues such as:
- Composition and independence of the Board.
- Quality of corporate reports.
- Senior management remuneration.
- Equal treatment of shareholders.
- Conflict of interest prevention.
- Reporting of material environmental and social information, when relevant to the company’s activities.
- Risk management and overall quality of corporate governance.
At the same time, we may maintain an open dialogue with companies and managements on matters of strategy, capital structure, governance, risks management and sustainability. This communication is complementary to our investment analysis and serves to better understand the risks and opportunities that may affect long-term investment performance.
The voting decisions are evaluated in line with the Voting Rights Policy, the company’s obligation to act in the best interests of its shareholders and clients, as well as the creation of long-term value.
We believe that active participation and responsible voting play a part in maintaining healthy corporate practices, protecting the interests of investors and creating long-term value.
